As owners of an antique business for more than 15 years and collectors for far (far, far, far) more, the owners Bob Bortner and Larry Straka understand and value what clients or their loved ones collected over the years. The company is particularly renowned for their expertise with Chinese, Japanese and other Asian antiques, but also have many years of experience with a wide variety of other types of collectibles, as well as general household property.
Unlike many of our peers in the Tucson, Arizona area, the appraisal business is not an adjunct of an estate sale business. Also, the company will not purchase items that they appraise. This way they can best provide clients with an honest and realistic assessment of the value of your property, as well as their options for disposing of it should they choose to.
