Asghar Ali Ghanchi[1] is a Pakistani Film Director & Cinematographer.[2] With his years of experience in the film industry and advertising arena, he is known for some of the most exciting projects in the country including international award-winning films.

Biography

He was born in Pakistan in 1994 and started his career in computer engineering, but discovered cinema and attended film school then. Ghanchi is a director[3], cinematographer[4], and writer. He studied filmmaking back in 2013 at a state university. Since then, he has been a director and cinematographer in the film industry. After starting his career he has done multiple shorts and won awards for his short film[5]. He is an award-winning[6] Director, Cinematographer, and Creative Director with years of experience in the film production and advertising arena. During the period of his career, he delivered hundreds of creative projects including short films, music videos, corporate videos, documentaries, and commercials through his own production company and also whilst working for other organizations. Having operated a multitude of motion picture film and digital cinema cameras on a wide variety of projects and environments over the years, he has extensive Cinematography knowledge and Direction experience. As an active member of the Film Society, he is continually developing his talents and developing new skills.
