Alexandra Roberts is a spokesperson for the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC).[1]
In June 2020 Roberts was called upon to perform damage control, after a twitter user modified some NBC news footage of protesters.[1] A twitter user with the screen name "bad scooter" had kept the NBC audio, but had replaced some of the original video with clips from the disaster film World War Z.
Even though the clip says it is a satire QAnon conspirators had retweeted it to their followers, who all believed it was real footage.[1]
Roberts went on record that NBC had never used the World war Z video.[1]
