Alexandre da Silva Borim, also known as Alex Borim or Frozen Stolichnaya. Born on May 26, 1980, in São Paulo, he is an Argentinian-German tattoo model, children’s book author, and language teacher, known for his tattoos inspired by characters from DC Comics and for his ability to speak seven languages.

Childhood and education

In his childhood, Alex was born in Brazil but moved to Argentina as a baby. As the son of a Brazilian father and an Argentine mother, he grew up bilingual, with both languages naturally becoming part of his communication. As the youngest of five siblings, Alex grew up in a modest family and had to walk about 4 kilometers to go to school. At the age of 14, he began studying French and was already fluent in the language by the age of 17. At 19, he enrolled in university, where he studied Literature in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. In 2006, he moved to Germany, where he currently resides and has naturalized. He completed a Master’s degree in Linguistics and is fluent in seven languages: Spanish, Portuguese, German, English, Romanian, French, and Dutch.

Entertainment

His foray into the entertainment world began with his participation in the first edition of Big Brother Argentina, where he was eliminated in the second week. Subsequently, he began working for MTV Sur on the show “Trotamundos,” traveling to over 60 countries. After his definitive move to Germany, he focused on his studies and expanded his knowledge of various languages. Additionally, he wrote some children’s books and appeared on German television programs such as “Adam sucht Eva” in 2014, “Jumping Dinner” in 2014, and “Mieten Kaufen Wohnen” in 2015.

Today

Currently, Alex primarily works as a teacher in the public education system in the city of Hamburg, Germany. Occasionally, he makes appearances on television, although in less prominent roles, such as the German film ‘Meine Freundin Volker,’ where he plays a Barman, and the Netflix miniseries ‘Informant,’ where he portrays a Hairdresser.
