Alagnak Lodge is a premier Alaska fly-out fishing lodge located on the Alagnak River in Bristol Bay, Alaska.[1][2]

Overview

Alagnak Lodge is a wilderness fishing lodge in the heart of Alaska's Bristol Bay watershed.[3] Situated in southwest Alaska’s Bristol Bay, this fishing lodge sits right on the banks of the Alagnak River.[4] Established in 1980, the Alagnak Lodge was the first lodge on the Alagnak River.[5]

Alagnak Lodge is a limited-access wilderness to fish for genetically pure wild fish with the tidal waters delivering them to the dock twice daily. It offers all five species of Pacific Salmon, rainbow trout, and other native stream fish. A guide is provided for every two clients with a very strong and stable boat to get them where they want to fish while enjoying the wilderness and wildlife. They often fish close to the lodge to spend time with their line in the water catching fish, but the people are in control and can go where and when they want to go. The proximity of the fishing near Alagnak Lodge means people have quick access to the lodge to refresh and relax, and a hot meal is always waiting for them between sessions.[6] The boats leave the dock as early as 7 am and return by 10:30 pm. Within that time period, fishermen can be in the boat and guided for up to 10 hours daily. Fishing is available right off the dock or nearby at other times.[7]

Alagnak Lodge offers access to the Alagnak River by float plane and a prime location where people spend more time fishing rather than traveling to the fish. With a flexible schedule, including evening fishing, the lodge also offers optional flyouts to explore fishing opportunities in the Bristol Bay watershed. The boats are comfortable and custom designed to fit the Alagnak River and fishing.[8] Alagnak Lodge has several single rooms and larger rooms to accommodate up to 20 clients, extended families, and business groups. The lodge’s three times daily meals are prepared professionally with high-quality ingredients.[9]
