1840 & Company was founded by Bryan DiGiorgio (CEO) in 2014, initially offering call center operations. The company expanded into other outsourcing solutions and on December 1, 2020, launched a vetted, freelance managed marketplace.[2] As of 2022, the company provides outsourcing, freelancing, and recruiting services for high-growth companies looking to scale quickly. They have a global network of vetted freelancers available in 150 different countries.[3]
The company's services include marketing, accounting/finance, sales, IT/development, contact center, back office, global payroll, and RPO.
It is headquartered in Overland Park, KS, with competency hubs in the Philippines, India, Ukraine, South Africa, and Argentina.[4][5]
