Transformers: Generation 1
In 1985 the first Transformer name Red Alert was introduced as an Autobot Security Director.
Fictional biography
Nothing escapes his notice, no matter how small. When his sensors are activated, thinks trouble is coming. Edgy... unpopular with comrades, but appreciated. Can trigger alarms in other Autobots. Excellent sensory perception. Fast in vehicular mode. Carries 25 mile range rocket launcher and particle beam rifle. Prone to rash judgements which can lead to injury to himself and comrades.

Transformers: Armada
In 2002 a new character named Red Alert was introduced for the Transformers: Armada series. This Red Alert was a doctor and scientist.
Fictional biography
Red Alert is a valued doctor and science officer who has saved the lives of many Autobots. His quest to save lives has led him to find new ways to repair damaged circuitry. He has risked his life many times to retrieve wounded comrades during battles. An old friend of Optimus Prime, Red Alert was once a fierce and heroic fighter, until he was seriously wounded in battle and saw the preciousness of all life. But will this new battle reawaken his warrior's heart?
Transformers Animated
The Transformers: Animated version of Red Alert resembled the Armada version but with the notable change of this version being a female.
Animated series
Red Alert was a medic assigned to Team Athenia under the leadership of Rodimus Major.
Comics
Red Alert appeared in the TFcon 2013 comic story Grab and Go.[1]
