Moonracer is a fictional character from the Transformers series.

Transformers: Generation 1

Moonracer is a female Autobot.

Animated series

Moonracer first appeared in The Transformers episode "The Search for Alpha Trion" as one of the troops under the command of Elita One on Cybertron. She participated on a raid on Shockwave's energon supply with Chromia and Firestar, only to end up caught in a trap after she attempted to take more Energon cubes. She and her comrades managed to escape, but not before they were seen by Shockwave, who dispatched one of his robot drones to follow them. Their base was later attacked by the Decepticons, but they escaped and linked up with the Autobots, with Moonracer reuniting with her old comrade (and possible boyfriend) Powerglide. After Alpha Trion established a new headquarters for the female Autobots, they bid farewell to their male counterparts; Moonracer and her comrades never appeared in the series again.

Dreamwave Productions

Elita One, Chromia, Firestar and Moonracer appeared briefly in the final issue of Dreamwave Productions Generation One series among the female Transformers sent by the Quintessons to Cybertron. Although they were supposed to be characters in the next plot arc involving the return of Optimus Prime, the company's closing left this story unfinished.

Fun Publications

Moonracer is among the Autobots present when Megatron attacks Iacon with his new weapon, Devastator.[1]
