Hubcap (Transformers)
Hubcap is the name of several fictional characters in the Transformers series. The original Hubcap is an Autobot communications expert who turns into a car and was introduced in 1986. In 2011 toy company Randerform announced an upgrade set that created a third party Transformer homage to Hubcap by giving a new head to the Classic Bumblebee mold.

Transformers: Generation 1
Hubcap is an Autobot communications expert. He has enhanced hearing and radio senses.
Fun Publications
Hubcap is one of the central characters to appear in Fun Publications fiction "Gone too Far", a text based story set on Transtech Cybertron. Jackpot and Hubcap find themselves in the city of Axiom Nexus after a mishap with a Space Bridge. They are given the grand tour by Scattorshot. While awaiting return to their own dimension they loose all their money in a card game with the Decepticon Gutcruncher. Invited to a rally he is giving, they are framed for his death when he is assassinated. They eventually clear themselves and are transported back to their dimension, where they end up on a planet rich in energon, They offer to help the locals, by helping remove the frightening explosive crystals from the planet.
Hubcap was among the troops under the command of Spark on Earth in the story Generation 2 Redux.[1]

- A recolor of the first Hubcap toy in metallic red.
- Renderform Hubcap head upgrade (2011)
- A third party add-on set that gives a new head to the Classic Bumblebee mold, making it look like Hubcap.[2]
Machine Wars
The second character named Hubcap was an Autobot tow-truck from the Machine Wars series introduced in 1997.
