Head Shots Vol. 5 is a set of fictional character heads made by Play With This Too. The heads are Bruiser, Secton and Tark.
Play With This Too
Bruiser, Secton and Tark are three fictional characters and toy heads made by Play With This Too. The heads are intended for hobbyists to use in making custom action figures.
Rik Alvarez has commented that the heads are battle masks used by The Mighty Muscules in his famous matches. The Bruiser helmet is from the battle of Muscules vs. the Jerks of Regulon 7. The Secton helmet is from the battle of Muscules vs. the Guys at the Laundry Mart. The Tark helmet is from the battle of Muscules vs. the Dudes From That Planet.
Fans have said that the head of Bruiser has a design similar to that of the G.I. Joe characters Big Boa, Secton is similar to the helmet used by E.C.O. Fighter Flint and Ozone and Tark is similar to a Techno-Viper.
Development
The Head Shots Vol. 5 were designed by Mark Wong and announced in December 2014 on the TFYLP podcast.
Reception
The TFYLP podcast for December 12th, 2014 had Rik Alvarex on briefly as a guest. They talked about Desolataur, Mighty Muscules and premiered Head Shots Vol. 5.[1]
The Cybercast podcast for December 27th, 2014 discussed Head Shots Vol. 5 in the news.[2]
The Repacked Podcast podcast for December 29th, 2014 interviewed Rik Alvarez of Play With This Too. They talked about Simon Furman and Christopher Dahlberg joining the team and about the figures for Desolataur, Mighty Muscules and Thunderous as well as Head Shots Vol. 5.[3]
