Windsor was born in Birmingham, England and grew up in Leicester, England. She attended Ravenhurst Primary School and later continued her education at Gryphon School. Windsor pursued her passion for art by studying at Leicester College and engaging with the local arts community through Soft Touch Arts.

Windsor's artistic journey led her from Birmingham to Leicester in February 2004 and later to Tolochenaz, Vaud, Switzerland in September 2023. Her portraits of Hepburn have garnered widespread acclaim for their ethereal quality and deep resonance with audiences. Windsor's work has been featured in prestigious publications, showcasing her unique artistic vision.
