Sarah L. Brinklow (1961-) is an American poet, author and editor. Brinklow is the artistic director of Darkwrite, specializing in the literary support and promotion of young people in the art of writing and provides them with a forum of self expression. Brinklow has 30 years experience in writing with particular emphasis on poetry. She is a member of Rochester Poets, Rochester, New York. Some of her prominent pieces have been included in the publications Fingerlakes Anthology (Foothills Press, 2005), and the Pinnacle Hill Review. Her work has been featured in the event "Women Celebrating Women" at Writers and Books, Rochester, NY both in 2004 and 2005 as well as other poetry events.

As co-founder of a local citizen's group, Brinklow has spoken many times before the Monroe County, New York Legislature and Rochester (NY) City Council. She has also met with local officials regarding citizen's concerns. She ran unsuccessfully for a school board vacancy when opposing term limits of incumbents.

Brinklow has written feature articles for publications, as well as commentary for various online political journals. Her book, Like Flaming Fields Stoked By A Gentle Breeze: One Womyn's Sojourn From Pain, was published in 2002.
