Fictional biography
Character and ability I have tremendous strength, but my heart is kind and a bright character. I love nature and animals. Strong cutter that cuts enemies while rotating at high speed, and a break voice of ultrasonic waves which any kind of shredded pieces is good at.
Animated series
A village of Rock People, who resembled Battlerock, Gutstock and Mecharock, lead by the elderly Java appear in episode 22, "Rockdon Versus Rockgilen".[1]
Battlerock-like, Gutsrock-like and Mecharock-like Rock People appear in episode 29, "Escape From the Underground - Pro Truck Racer Appears!". They aid Rom Stol's forces against magnetic mines, which are not attracted to their stone bodies. The Stone People aided in recovering Tough Trailer when he was trapped underground.[2]
Battlerock-like, Gutsrock-like and Mecharock-like Rock People defend the Battle Base construction site from the Gandora in episode 34, "Vikung-Fu Disappears in Space".[3]
Battlerock-like, Gutsrock-like and Mecharock-like Rock People were among the reinforcements Blue Jet brought in to help save Rubyman from the Gandora in episode 35, "The Secret of the Jewel People".[4]
In episode 36, "Cannon Fury - Save Amberman", Battlerock-like, Gutsrock-like and Mecharock-like Rock People welcomed Amberman into the Battle Base forces when he was invited by Rom Stol to join them.[5]
In episode 40, "Secret Valley of the Fossil Men", Battlerock-like, Gutsrock-like and Mecharock-like Rock People welcomed Gattai Saurer into the Battle Base forces when he was invited by Rom Stol to join them.[6]
Toys
- Bandai Rock Lords GoBots Granite (most of Europe, 1986)
- Although the toys were identical for the North American and European releases of Granite, the packages were different. Comes with a grey "T-Gun" rifle. The US version was released by Tonka and only mentioned the brand as Rock Lords, where the European version was released by Bandai and credited the Rock Lords as a part of the Robo Machines GoBots series.
- This toy was released as Gutsrock in the Machine Robo Revenge of Cronos line, where it came with a red gun (although a brown gun is depicted on his package).
- Tonka Rock Lords 7500 Granite (USA and UK, 1986)
- Turns from rock to Rock Lord. The US release comes with a red "T-Gun" rifle.
