Mounir el Motassadeq

Mounir El Motassadeq was a Moroccan student, studying in Germany, who was a friend of Mohammed Atta and other [[9-11 hijackers]].[1] German authorities charged him with assisting the hijackers. He was initially acquitted, but the acquital was overturned on appeal on November 16, 2006.
