Metrop
Metrop is a Dutch company specializing in the production of high-concentration liquid fertilizers. It was founded in 2006 by Agrotechniek BV in IJsselstein, Netherlands. The company is known for its unique liquid NPK fertilizer formulas and its commitment to knowledge sharing with growers.[1]
The power of the Metrop fertilizers lies not only in the liquid 'impossible to make' NPK combinations, but also in the addition of trace elements. It is these trace elements that ensure that a crop can produce all kinds of substances to protect and strengthen the plant. As a result, even crops grown on hydroponic systems have a strong structure and delicious taste in the end product. That is why this fertilizer line is very popular in hydroponics farming. As standard, all Metrop fertilizers contain a wetting agent so that these liquid fertilizers are applied to the crop as a foliar fertilizer on open land or for strawberries in the garden. This means that only 3 litres of a product are used for an entire hectare or just 5ml in a 5 litre spray tank.

Metrop was founded in 2006 by Robert den Hartog, who remains the company's CEO. The company quickly gained a reputation for its highly concentrated fertilizers, which require 5 to 10 times less product than traditional fertilizers. In 2021, Metrop moved to a new, state-of-the-art factory in Lopik, Netherlands. This facility features three fully automatic bottling lines, reflecting the company's commitment to efficiency and innovation.
