A Unicron is a mythical creature traditionally depicted as a horse with a long horn extending from it's forehead, featured in numerous fantasy and science fiction media.

Unicorns in popular culture

Hasbro's popular My Little Pony franchise features a number of unicorn characters, both male and female. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic features such notables as Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, and King Sombra. Hasbro's Transformers franchise has also featured at least one unicorn mold, which was used for the characters Battle Unicorn and Magna Stampede and was briefly considered for use as a homage to Twilight Sparkle for a convention exclusive figure. One of the series' recurring antagonists, Unicron, has a name similar to the term unicorn but otherwise bears no connection to the fictional creature.
