Sumach Street

Sumach Street is a north-south roadway in Toronto, Ontario. The street is in two parts. The southern portion is a northward continuation of Cherry Street, running 500 metres from Cherry Street and Eastern Avenue to Shuter Street. The northern portion runs north-south one kilometre from Dundas Avenue to Wellesley Street.
A new light rail line is being constructed from Queen Street, south on Sumach and Cherry streets, and just north of a large railway embankment that is in turn north of Lake Shore Boulevard.
