Manga

IDW Publishing

Stampy had a biography printed in the Beast Wars Sourcebook by IDW Publishing.[1] He also appears in Beast Wars: The Ascending as part of the Pack, a black ops unit of Maximals led by Lio Convoy. Stampy and his comrades go looking for their missing teammate Razorbeast in Earth's past, and eventually find him embroiled in a time-displaced extension of the Beast Wars triggered by Magmatron.

Stampy later returns to Cybertron to help battle Shokaract, and during the encounter with Big Convoy's forces it is learned that the majority of Maximals-or at least those familiar with him-believed that he had been killed in action, when in reality he had been recruited to the Pack.

Fun Publications

Andromeda conducted an interview with Stampy's mother Kitte Shūshū, who revealed that-at least in her reality-Maximals have organic elements integrated into their being; Stampy was thus born through biological reproduction as the child of Kitte and Z Grill, who named him after their mutual love of stamp-collecting.
