Sparkstalker
Sparkstalker is a fictional character from the Transformers series. He is a Decepticon Firecon monster. He should not be confused with the Decepticon drone Javil, who is based on the same toy mold.

Sparkstalker is of the Decepticon Firecons.
Fictional biography
His greatest talents are revealed in the tiniest structures. An expert in robbing memory banks, counterfeiting printed circuits, decoding binary messages. Meticulous, cautious, obsessed with minute details. Decepticons appreciate his appearance more than his other talents because he terrifies Autobots. Shoots flame from mouth with limited accuracy. Better equipped to light campfires than melt Autobots.
Reception
Sparkstalker was named the 9th oddest thing that G1 Transformers transform into by Topless Robot.[1]
Animated series
Although Sparkstalker didn't appear in any animated series, his recolor Javil appeared in the Transformers: Super-God Masterforce anime, where he was miscolored to look like the Sparkstalker toy.
Comics
Condor Verlag
In a story called "By their Blasters you shall know them ...!" from Transformers Comic-Magazin issue #12 by German comic publisher Condor Verlag Optimus Prime instructs Backstreet, Bumblebee and Ruckus on how to identify Autobots from Decepticons in battle using the Ark's computer. Sparkstalker is one of those he displays to the Autobots.[2]
Dreamwave Productions
Although none of the Firecons appeared in the main Dreamwave Productions story, they did all receive one-page biographies in the Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye profile comics.
Fun Publications
The Firecons were among the troops under the command of Clench on Earth in the story "Generation 2 Redux."[3]
Marvel Comics
The Firecons first appeared in the Marvel UK comics, sent by the Decepticon leaders on Cybertron to form an alliance with the future Decepticon leader Galvatron. Finding the Sparkabots, the two teams battled, only to be interrupted by Galvatron himself. The Firecons delivered their proposal - and Galvatron just laughed in their faces. They appeared in several other UK comics, battling the Sparkabots and Ultra Magnus again in league with the depraved owner of illegal gladiator games, and battling demons under the surface of Cybertron, where Cindersaur was seemingly killed. They appeared in the US comics as part of a scheme by Scorponok to acquire Autobots for one of his schemes, capturing the Sparkabots and sending them to Earth. They did not appear again, but were briefly mentioned near the end of the series by Bludgeon as one of the few casualties during the assault on Klo, with Sparkstalker having accidentally been incinerated by Flamefeather.
Toys
- Generation 1 Firecon Sparkstalker (1988)
- A new mold, in monster mode Sparkstalker could be rolled on the floor and shoot sparks from his mouth. This mold was recolored into Generation 1 Javil and Generation 2 Sparkstalker.
- Generation 2 Firecon Sparkstalker (1994)
- A recolor of the Generation 1 mold.
