Combiners

Sky Reign the name of a fictional character from the Transformers series. He is the combined form of Sky Lynx and several Autobots and Decepticons introduced in 2016.

Transformers: Generations

Introduced in 2016, Sky Reign is the combined form of Sky Lynx and several other Autobots. Initial packaging denoted his limbs being formed by Hound, Smokescreen, Trailbreaker and Wheeljack.

With the release of Generations Combiner Wars Deluxe Groove, it placed Groove a leg in place of Smokescreen.

Initial packaging samples of Generations Combiner Wars Legends Wreck-Gar say he also helps form part of Sky Reign, but how it attaches to the combiner is a mystery, and mention of Sky Reign was removed from the regular release of the toy.

In Sky Reign's appearance in the IDW Publishing stories he was formed by Sky Lynx with Cosmos, Slugslinger, Sunstreaker and Thundercracker forming the limbs.

He should not be confused with Lynxmaster, a similar combiner.

Fictional biography

Sky Lynx talks about himself as one of the most accomplished Autobot warriors. Now that he has mastered the power of combination, he really has something to brag about. His new combined form, Sky Reign, is a ferocious Combiner beast!

Sky Reign in IDW Publishing configuration

In the IDW Publishing stories Sky Reign was created during a disastrous Autobot raid on Galvatron's underwater base. In a display of power, Galvatron used his planet-sized Enigma of Combination to force Autobots and Decepticons into combining and sicced the resulting Sky Reign on Superion.

With the aid of the Seeker clone combiners, Sky Reign got the upper hand on Superion, but Superion took control of the Earth-Enigma and disabled it, causing Sky Reign to separate
