Scott Michaels know as “Matchmaker” is an English entrepreneur and businessman. Michaels is the owner of brands Hairbond which produces premium professional haircare and heritage sports brand Stylo Matchmakers

Michaels is best known as a football agent helping footballers and football clubs.[1][2]

Biography

With a keen interest as a teenager and like his idol Vidal Sassoon, Michaels studied hairdressing at 15 years old. At just 18 years old he opened his first hair salon in Lancaster before he founded and established professional haircare range Hairbond in 2008 .[3]

Michaels gained a top reputation in marketing and product development with many awards over the years. With Hairbond he arranged marketing endorsements with sports stars James Anderson, Simon Mignolet and directed the award willing promotional video with professional boxer Tony Jeffries. Hairbond has sold over 3 million products worldwide with over 50m video views on YouTube driving demand. Hairbond is currently distributed in over 30 countries worldwide.[4]

Michaels relaunched iconic sports shoe brand Stylo Matchmakers back into football and aquired the global trademarks for the brand in 2017. Stylo Matchmakers were launched into grass roots clubs, academies and schools exclusively.

In 2018, professional footballers Kyle Lafferty, Paul Gallagher, Christian Fuchs and Kolo Toure became the brands ambassador. Stylo Matchmakers also created football kits for a number of teams that include professional football club C.D. Portosantense.[5]

Football Agency

With his passion and understanding of the game he then became a registered FA football agent and has worked on advising clubs players and managers with his platforms Pro Footballers Pro Football Clubs . Michaels advised and represented a number of clubs in England.[6]

However, Michaels has developed a strong reputation in the purchasing of professional football clubs with his company Football People launched in 2020.[7][8]
