Salmoore is a fictional character and third-party Transformer homage to the GoBot Cy-Kill created by DX9 Toys in 2014.

DX9 Toys

Salmoore is an homage to the GoBots characters Cy-Kill. He turns from robot into a motorcycle. Salmoore is an English phonetic of 萨尔魔, Cy-Kill's name in Chinese.

Development

Salmoore was designed by DX9.

Salmoore was first teased in March 2014 with a darkened image under the name DX9. The next day Robot Kingdom posted preorders and color renders of Salmoore by Unique Toys. He was expected to ship in May 2014.

Salmoore shipped in July 2014.

A green recolor of Salmoore was announced at TFcon Toronto 2014.

Reprolabels released a set of stickers for Salmoore in October 2014.

Reception

The Shattered Cast Uncut podcast for March 13th, 2014 discussed Salmoore in the news.[1]

The WTF@TFW podcast for March 16th, 2014 selected pictures of Salmoore as one of the New Picture Picks.[2]

Once in a distant galaxy, there were invaders lead by ruthless Salmoore. He and his empire plundered one after another planer's resources...

An original mold by Unique Toys. Turns from a humanoid robot to motorcycle. He stands about Voyager toy height. Comes with two muffler rifles, two wheel guards, collector card and instructions.
This toy was recolored as Splinter.
