Phantom Robo is a fictional character from the Machine Robo series introduced in 1985. He is a heroic member of the Jet Clan.

Machine Robo
Phantom Robo is a heroic member of the Jet Clan who turns into a fighter jet. Because of his mechanoid nature Phantom Robo does not need to breath oxygen and is resistant to cold, but is vulnerable to intense magnetic fields. His weapons of choice are his AAM Ionoid Sparrow and M80A Ionoid Vulcan.
Animated series
Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos
Phantom Robo appeared in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode 27 of, called "The Magic Mountain Knight Maskrock". In the episode Harley Robo was a teacher in Yamalin City whose school was targeted by an attack by the Gandora. Although he attempted to evacuate the students, some were still in the building when a missile containing rust poison gas went off. Harley was part of a Yamilan City volunteer group lead by Rom Stol that went to retrieve the cure for the rust poison gas. Phantom Robo gave Harley Robo a lift when they flew off for their mission.[1]
Phantom Robo appeared in episode 34, "Vikung-Fu Disappears In Space".[2]
Battle Robo, Kendo Robo, Phantom Robo and Skyline Robo were downed defending the Battle Base when it was attacked by Gandora in episode 39, "Full Power, Wheelman!".[3]
Note: Phantom Robo is also called Battle Plane in some English subtitles of the series.

Phantom Robo appeared in Machine Robo: Battle Hackers episode 1, "Burning Electronic Planet".[4]
Phantom Robo appeared in Machine Robo: Battle Hackers episode 3, "Heavy Wind Mach Blaster".[5]
