The Megastar is the mobile fortress of Megatron/Galvatron in Robots in Disguise, and resembles a purple and black torso with no head or legs.

Animated series

The Megastar serves as the base for Megatron and his Predacons and later Scourge and the Commandos after the Decepticons are created and added to Megatron's fortress.

Galvatron later combines with the fortress, connecting to the end of one of it's arms in hand mode, in order to battle with Fortress Maximus, but was defeated after a brief conflict that appears to have resulted in the Megastar's destruction.

Fun Publications

"Ask Vector Prime" revealed that an alternate Galvatron also possessed a Megastar, and welcomed Cryotek aboard in exchange for the time-traveling Predacon's aid in reformatting himself into a new form that would allow him to control Fortress Maximus.
