Mainframe is a fictional character from the Transformers series. He is an Autobot Action Master system analyst.

Mainframe is an Autobot Action Master and system analyst. His Targetmaster partner is Push-Button.

Fictional biography

A walking, talking computer terminal. Would rather attack fourth order differential equasions than Decepticons. Totally committed to his work. Views the galactic conflict as an inconvenience he must tolerate rather than a struggle in which he must participate. Is often compelled to flex his intellectual muscle, when needed. Equipped with 200,000 mega-byte capacity. His pugnatious partner, Push-Button, prefers converting to self-propelled proton rifle mode and disintegrating Decepticons over his assigned task of debugging Mainframe's various programs.


Fun Publications

Mainframe appeared in Invasion Prologue by Fun Publications where he and Rad were working at Ironworks when it was attacked by Overlord and his Decepticon troops.[1]

IDW Publishing

Mainframe appeared in the BotCon 2016 story Transformers: Dawn of the Predacus, where he served in Autobot Unit-2 under Tigatron.[2]

TFcon comics

Mainframe and Push-Button appear in the TFcon 2014 comic story "The Dark Warrior". In this story is they reformat Shafter into a new body.[3]

Transformers: Mosaic

Mainframe appeared in the Transformers: Mosaic story "First They Came..." by Robert Lock.[4]

In Transformers: Rescue Bots Mainframe is mentioned briefly as one of the personalities incorporated into the programming of the Elma Hendrickson hologram that runs the Rescue Bot Training Academy.
