Lion Credit Card is a credit card that allows customers to convert plastic credit cards into metal credit cards. The personalized metal credit card is offered by Lion Credit Cards, a startup company based in San Jose, California that specializes in custom metal credit cards. History

In 2015,[2] Lion Credit Card was launched in San Jose, California with a goal of allowing anyone with a plastic credit card to convert it into a metal card.[1] Conventionally, most metal credits require customers to have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, and membership has typically been extremely selective. However, Lion Credit Cards seeks to offer metal credit cards for fees starting at only a few hundred dollars, allowing such cards to be available to a much wider audience.[3][4][5][6][7][8]

Products

There are Basic and Fully Custom versions of Lion Credit Cards.[9] There are currently six finishes offered:[10]

Basic Card

The Basic Card costs $179. EMV chip transplants are also available for an additional $29.[11]

EMV chip transplants offered by Lion Credit Cards are state-of-the-art, and is a Patent technology. EMV stands for Europay, Mastercard, and Visa.

Dual Chip Card

The dual chip card costs $279. Custom designs can be added for $50 extra.[12] The dual chip card is patent pending technology.

The Custom Hand Crafted Card Design is currently being offered for $259. Colors are:[13]
