Kronos is a fictional character and third-party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Jetfire and Skyfire made by DaCa Toys in 2014.

DaCa Toys

Kronos is a third-party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Skyfire. He is designed to look like the animation model of Skyfire.

Development

Kronos was designed by Raphael, who says Skyfire was his favorite character.

The Kronos prototype was displayed at New Jersey Comic Con 2014.[1]

Kronos was released in July 2014.

Reception

The Retro Robot Radio podcast for September 28th, 2013 mentioned DaCa Toys Kronos and Titan in the news.[2]

The Cybercast podcast for October 26th, 2013 discussed DaCa Toys Kronos in the news. The hosts confused it with Titan.[3]

The Radio Free Cybertron podcast for October 28th, 2013 discussed DaCa Toys Kronos as part of their Third Party Roundup.[4]

The Shattered Cast Uncut podcast for January 16th, 2014 discussed Kronos in the news.[5]

The Shattered Cast Uncut podcast for March 6th, 2014 discussed Kronos in the news.[6]

Some issues reported for this figure include misassembled fingers[7] and problems with the ankles necessitating new Shapeways printed replacements.[8]
