Iftikhar Ahmed is a citizen of Pakistan who the United States held in extrajudicial detention in the Bagram Theater Internment Facility.[1] The USA held him, for four and a half years. Even after the USA turned over most of the captives held in Bagram to the custody of Afghan authorities, they continued to hold all the captives who were not Afghan citizens, which included several dozen Pakistani citizens.
