Khaja Osman Faruquee is a renowned philosophical thinker, Progressive Spiritual Teacher, Thought Leader, and humanitarian worker. He has been serving society with knowledge initiatives and different endeavors for the last decade. As a light bearer, nature lover, and accomplished organizer, Khaja Faruquee likes to read and roam around old towns & civilizations. Practicing religion and thinking in solitude is his love. As a self-taught person his areas of study are Religion, Conflict and Peace, Religious Literacy: Traditional and Scriptures, Quranic Philosophy, Arab-Islamic History : From Tribes to Empires, Science of Religion, Sufism, Meditation and Spirituality, Mystical Islamic History, Theosophical Sufism, Multifaith Study, Comparative Religion and World History. Most of his thoughts are about the pattern, nature, and deeper points of human thinking which has enabled him to write the book “Je Path Amar Path” or My Own Path. Khaja Faruquee ’s upbringing in a culturally rich family has encouraged him to get a deeper understanding of spirituality. In the last several years, he has participated in a number of courses that are concerned with mediation, lifestyle, and Muraqaba (A Sufi way of connecting with the Almighty creator). In the year 2016, Faruquee invented the “Sufi Meditation and Muraqaba Method.” To enlighten society with such endeavors, he has established Sufi Spiritual Academy. He has already facilitated more than ten courses on meditation, muraqaba, and an improved lifestyle. To change society with the help of the young generation, he has been working relentlessly in various towns and districts of Bangladesh, where his key focus areas are – mental health, young leadership, ethical training, etc. Khaja Faruquee is the editor and publisher of a prominent tri-monthly Sufi magazine called Sufinama . This publication has been praised by thinkers and avid readers of society. By being influenced by the spiritual teachings of the great Sufi thinkers like Khaja Moinuddin Chisti, and Allama Jalaluddin Rumi, Khaja Faruquee has devoted his life to the research of Sufism. Besides this, Quranic philosophy is another area of his interest. Besides working for society, religion, and philosophy, he has been writing Sufi poetries, essays, Islamic nasheeds, and poetic translations of the Quran. Khaja Faruquee has devoted his life to loving God and his creations. He wants to walk on this path till the last breath.
