Arsala Khan is an individual American intelligence has asserted is one of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden's financiers.[1] Guantanamo captive Abdel Hadi Mohammed Badan Al Sebaii Sebaii faced two factors justifying his continued detention that stated:

  1. The detainee's pocket literature included documents containing the name Arsala Khan.
  2. Two recovered letters written by Usama Bin Ladin express thanks to Arsala Khan for his financial support and protection.

In January 2004, an Arsala Khan was reported arrested by Pakistan after being accused of "giving shelter to al-Qaeda", and noted as belonging to the Ahmedzai tribe. He was arrested together with Gul Baz Khan and Sher Mohammad.[2]

In 2006, a Waziri elder named Arsala Khan was reported killed by militants, and identified by the Daily Times as a "pro-government" leader.[3]

A suspected Taliban supporter named Arsala Khan was arrested in January 2008, along with four others named Abdullah Khan, Bakhtyar Khan, Muhammad Hanif and Nasrullah, as they tried to enter Zhob on a passenger bus from Wana, where they had been studying at a madrassa that had recently closed.[4]
