Dan McClory
Daniel McClory is an international investment banker working as the Head of Equity Capital Markets and Head of China at Boustead Securities, a leading investment banking firm with worldwide operations[1]. He has 20 years of experience working with equity capital markets, as well as merger and acquisition transactions with high-growth companies[2].

Early life and education
Born and raised in Detroit, McClory attended St. Francis de Sales, a Catholic elementary school. In sixth grade, he transferred to Royal Oak and studied at St. Mary’s High School. He then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in English and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Language and International Trade from Eastern Michigan University.
McClory was also awarded an Honorary Doctor of Public Service degree, which was given by Eastern Michigan University for the first time in 10 years after it was awarded to then-President Bill Clinton. As a three-time captain of EMU’s NCAA Division cross country team, McClory was named “Outstanding Young Alumnus” and "Eastern Man of the Year"[2].
Career
Daniel McClory has had a diversified career as an international banker, venture philanthropist, and equity capital market advisor. With a primary focus on China, he has conducted business across North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. McClory has worked at Hunter Wise Financial Group, Burnham Securities, Bonwick Capital Partners as Managing Director, specializing in equity capital markets[2]. Since 2016, he has worked at Boustead Securities, LLC as the Managing Director, Head of Equity Capital Markets, and Head of China as well. McClory also manages the Gen Next Foundation, which was listed as the first foreign-funded, venture philanthropy-backed IPO on Bovespa's Social Stock Exchange in Brazil.

McClory is a regular speaker and analyst on China Central Television (CCTV) and China Global Television Network (CGTN). He has been interviewed on China's Two Sessions about China’s investment climate[3]. He was also interviewed as guest analyst several times by China’s CGTN on about Chinese IPOs[4][5]. In an early 2020 interview on CGTN, he has also discussed the impacts of coronavirus on trade.[6]. McClory has also presented analyses on Donald Trump's summit negotiations with North Korea on i24NEWS and other media outlets[7].

Philanthropy
McClory has made contributions of $1,000,000 to the EMU Men's and Women's Track and Cross Country programs, and is currently a member of Michigan Eastern University’s Department of Athletics’ Champions Advisory Board[2].

Under McClory's supervision, one of his teams has ranked Top Ten for placement agents, won 'Deal of the Year' at the M&A Advisor Awards, and completed IPOs and transactions for clients listed on NASDAQ and different stock exchanges worldwide.
