Combes Robin is a fictional character and third-party Transformer created by FansProject. It is an homage to the 1990 Generation 1 Autobots Sonic Bomber and Sonic.

Combes Robin is a third-party Transformer homage to the Autobots Sonic Bomber and Sonic. "Combes Robin" is an anagram for "Sonic Bomber".

Since Cybertron Wing Saber is also an homage to Sonic Bomber, Combes Robin also works as a Wing Saber homage.

Development

FansProject first teased their Function-X line of toys at TFcon 2012.

Combes Robin was released in July 2015.

Reception

In the Fwooshcast podcast for December 14th, 2012 the hosts talked about teaser images of the Function-X toys.
