The CCGS Wilfred Templeman is a Canadian Coast Guard research vessel.[1] Built in 1981, the Wilfred Templeman is a Offshore Fishery Science Vessel that patrols the coast off Newfoundland and Labrador.

In September 2009 the Department of Fisheries and Oceans announced invitations for contracts to replace several of the Coast Guards research vessels, including the Wilfred Templeman.[1] Her replacement will be larger, 67 metres in Length. She will be staffed by a crew of 25, and will be able to carry an additional staff of 18 scientists. She is scheduled to be completed in 2012.

The Wilfred Templeman was sold as surplus in Sept 2011 for $371,956.55
