The Birchmount Loop marked the easternmost extension of its streetcar system.

The Toronto Transit Commission's Birchmount Loop marked the TTC's easternmost extension of its streetcar system.[1] When it was built the city's eastern boundary ended at Victoria Park Avenue, and extending the Kingston Road streetcar east to Birchmount Road took it deep into the Borough of Scarborough, Ontario. However, the privately operated Scarborough Radial did travel farther east.
