Barion McQueen is an American entrepreneur, business consultant, and author. He is also a real estate agent and digital marketing expert who serves as the owner of The Brand Castle.[1] In 2019, he published the book Why Won't My Business Grow?[2]

McQueen is currently based in Florida. Serving a diverse clientele, some of McQueen's clients have included major Fortune 500 companies such as Coca-Cola, Mercedes Benz, Levi's, and Adidas.[3]

Education and early career

Barion McQueen was born on June 16, 1985 in Newark, Delaware.[4]

He attended Paul M. Hodgson High School, where he studied Technical Drafting. He graduated in 2003 with an exemplary certificate in his field. He was one of 4 students who competed in the Skills USA Vica competition for his trade and was ranked 7 of 202 students in his graduating class.

When he was in college full time, he was working at 3 places. He has worked at an engineering firm part-time during the day, a cleaning service at night and the skating rink on weekends. [5]

After taking Civil Engineering coursework at the University of Delaware, McQueen worked in the construction industry for over 13 years before changing his focus to digital marketing.[6][7] In 2013, he moved to Florida, where he started multiple companies and is still currenty based.[4]

Business career

In 2012, McQueen founded The Brand Castle, a digital marketing and branding agency. He later also founded Real Estate Captured in 2017.[8]

As a former musician, McQueen also utilized his experience from the music industry to start Hip Hop Dose,[9] an entertainment and music website that focuses primarily on hip-hop.[10]

Additionally, McQueen has started over 100 local businesses in Florida.[3]

The Brand Castle

The Brand Castle[11] specializes in various areas of digital marketing, ranging from SEO (search engine optimization) to web design, social media management, and digital content creation.[12] The company is currently located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.[13]

The Brand Castle helps businesses of all sizes with branding, business growth, and social media campaigns. Services offered by The Brand Castle include photography,[14] videography,[15] graphic design (including logos[16]), social media management,[17] and web design.[18][4][19]

Why Won't My Business Grow? is a book published by Barion McQueen in 2019.[20][21] The book is intended for a diverse audience, including both new entrepreneurs and experienced businesses.
