Aruna Kalra is an Indian gynaecologist and obstetrician.[1]

Education

Kalra earned her MBBS from BRD Medical College. She holds a masters degree in Gynaecology and Obstetrics from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. She has also done certified training in Ultrasonography and Infertility.[2]

Career

Kalra has years of experience in the field obstetrics and gynaecology.[3] She is known for carrying out invasive gynaecological surgeries, high-risk pregnancies and Vaginal Birth After Caesarean (VBAC) and Scarless Laproscopic Surgery.[4]

Dr. Kalra worked with Kasturba Hospital, Batra Hospital, and Paras Hospital at different times in the course of her medical career.[5] She is currently working with CK Birla Hospital, Gurugram as a Director and Senior Gynaecologist Surgeon.[6][7] She is also the MD of Mums Clinic in Gurugram.[8]

Kalra features in notable write-ups and talk shows on various topics related to women, kids, pregnancy, lifestyle, diseases and so on.[9][10][11][12][13][14]

Social activism

Dr. Kalra organised a Boot camp for would-be daddies.[15] She has also organized a special session for new Mothers aimed at addressing motherhood issues.[16]

Dr. Kalra has organised health and hygiene awareness camp for young girls at Rashtrahit Sewa Sangathan.[17] She has also conducted a workshop for preteens and teens at Manav Rachna School, Gurgaon to inculcate basic personal hygiene practices in young minds.[18]
