Woodball is a sport in which a ball is passed through gates with the help of a mallet. This game can be played on grass, sand, or in an enclosed space. The sport was established in 2008 and is part of the Asian Beach Games programme.[1] Taipei, Taiwan is home to the International Woodball Federation.[2][3]
HISTORY OF WOODBALL
Weng Ming-hui and Kuang-chu Young founded the sport in Taiwan in 1990.[4] In 2008, the Asian Beach Games were added to the Olympic Council of Asia's programme.[5]
