Vincent Iacopino

Vincent Iacopino is am American doctor, who has specialized in the after-effects of torture.[1] He is the author of several books on torture, or that address topics related to torture.[2][3][4][5][6] On February 5, 2013, Iacopino testified, by video link, at the Guantanamo Military Commission for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and four other Guantanamo captives, who stand accused of managing al Qaeda's attack on September 11, 2001. The Presiding Officer was being asked to consider how the acknowledged torture of the suspects should affect the proceedings.
