According to Wikialpha:CSD, all articles are supposed to be in English. Geo Swan (talk) 01:24, 24 June 2023 (UTC)

no duplicates

After spending half an hour using google translate to translate Kuan_Vai_Lam_(Chinese) into English, I noticed the article says the guy's real name is Guan Weilin.

So, I went to move it to Guan Weilin. Rhetorical question... do you think I was cross when I realized you had already created an English language article on this guy?

You are allowed to create just one, count-em, one, article on each topic. Creating duplicate articles, or near duplicate articles, on a single topic is SPAM.

If any of the articles you wrote in Chinese duplicate articles you wrote in English, turn them into redirects to the English articles.

If there are Chinese articles that AREN'T duplicates, please translate them into English. Geo Swan (talk) 01:37, 24 June 2023 (UTC)

  • I have just tidied up everything after reading what everyone had to say. And I sent Writingsnowman a few emails. He says now everything is ok. Thank you for your help. Especially the time you spent with the translation, it's very nice of you. Leboulanger (talk) 20:54, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
  • Thanks for taking our advice seriously.
So are 關偉霖 and Kuan Vai Lam essentially duplicates? If there is anything in 關偉霖 that isn't yet in Kuan Vai Lam? If there isn't, could you redirect it to Kuan Vai Lam. If it does contain some unique information, could you (1) translate that into English; (2) insert it into the appropriate place in the English language article; (3) redirect the Chinese language article to the English language article?
