Sprocket (Transformers)

Sprocket is the name of two fictional characters in the Transformers series. The original Sprocket is an Action Master Autobot introuduced in 1990 and is a member of the Autobot Elite Guard Stealth Team.

Sprocket is an Autobot Action Master. He is the brother of Rumbler.

Sprocket is programmed to take fast, forceful action and no prisoners. This fierce warrior doesn't withdraw from a battlefield until he's covered it with the smoking wreckage of Decepticons. He drives a rebuilt, all-terrain Attack Cruiser which has the standard supply of two photon rifles, metal-immobilizing magnetic rockets, and bumper energy shields. The Attack Cruiser converts into a vector-thrust hovercopter, armed with front-moounted plasma-pulse machine guns.

IDW Publishing

Sprocket first appeared in the IDW Publishing Transformers: Spotlight on Arcee as a warrior under the command of Fortress Maximus on the Garrus-9 penal facility.

Fun Publicatons

Sprocket appeared in "A Team Effort" by Fun Publications.

Sprocket returns in "Battle Lines", where it is revealed that he and several other Elite Guard survived the attack by Bruticus. He arrives in time to help Magnum's team against the Decepticon forces of Deathsaurus. [1]

Information

This version of Sprocket is a mirror-universe countepart of the Generation 1 character. He is a cameramech is named who once worked for Rook.

Fun Publications

In Around Cybertron Part 4, Rook has his field reporter Punch make up a story on a group of Autobots meeting with the Decepticons. Sprocket worked the camera.
