Spice rack, also known as spice organizer, is a cabinet or shelf that is used to store minuscule jars,[1] in which spices, herbs, salts and sugars are held in. It can be classified as an organizational furniture, since it helps to keep the jars in a specific order and easy to reach.[2] Spice racks may be built out of wood, plastic, etc. Some spice racks are hold in pantry or they may be installed on the door of pantry.[3]

Types

Many different types of spice racks exist, which are; pull-out spice racks, rotating spice racks, hanging spice racks, magnetic spice racks, drawer spice racks and cabinet door spice racks.[4]

Labels

One way of keeping jars organized on spice rack is to label them and put them in alphabetical order.[2]

Magnetic spice racks

In some cases jars use magnets to hold them onto metal surfaces, thus leaving free space for cabinet and counter.[5]
