Mecha Form
Sky Guardian is a third-party homage to Generation 1 Skyfire. He is based on the animated character model of Generation 1 Skyfire.
Development
Images of Mechaform Sky Guardian were previewed at TFcon 2013's Third Party Panel.[1]
Mechaform released prototype images of Sky Guardian on their Facebook page in March 2014.
Sky Guardian was released in October 2015.
Reception
The Good Morning, Cybertron! podcast for July 29th, 2013 discussed the Sky Guardian in the news. The hosts of the show said the toy is Voyager sized, and was designed by someone who worked for other companies before. He also stated that at the time of TFcon 2013 they had not named their company yet. They complained that the head could be better.[2]
The Shattered Cast Uncut podcast for March 13th, 2014 discussed Sky Guardian in the news.[3]
The Good Morning, Cybertron! podcast for June 16th, 2014 discussed Sky Guardian in the news. One host thought it was too big, another thought the robot mode looked blocky and lacked grace.[4]

- An original third-party Transformer mold. Turns from robot to jet. Stands about 10 inches tall at the head. Comes with a rifle.
