Transformers: Generation 1

Animated series

Shouki and his fellow Trainbots appear in numerous episodes of Transformers: The Headmasters, usually appearing to transport other Autobots and their human allies from place to place. However, they would also engage in battle with Decepticons, either singly or by combining to form Raiden.

Transformers Headmasters UFP

Shouki (called Railspike, presumably after the Team Bullet Train leader) appeared in the Transformers Headmasters UFP episode "Rebellion on Animatros" where he was voiced by Curt Page.[1]

Fun Publications

"Ask Vector Prime" revealed the origins of Shouki and his teammates as being created by a team of human scientists in Japan. Dr. Sōji Yoshikawa, the team leader, was the one who named him based on an enthusiasm for Japanese military history, believing that the name would convey both dignity and strength. [2]
