Rumbler is a fictional characters in the Transformers series. He was introduced in 1991 as part of the Action Master group. He is a member of the Autobot Elite Guard.

Transformers: Generation 1

Fumbler is an Autobot Action Master who specials in front line defense.

Usually called into action in times of severe crisis. Often part of the first line of defence against Decepticon attack. His all-terrain vehicle converts into exo-suit armour shielded by ten inches of pure titanium. Able to withstand repeated Decepticon photon blasts while its rotating defence pounders smash through the attackers. A massive, roving repellor able to maul down anything in its path.

Rumbler appeared in "A Team Effort" by Fun Publications.

When most of the members of the Autobot Elite Guard, including Rumbler, confronted Bruticus they were nearly wiped out, with Bruticus killing most of the Guard. Dion was able to blind Bruticus, forcing it to seperate into the Combaticons, but the Combaticons finished off most of the remaining Guard, including Metalhawk, who was killed by Onslaught. This seemingly left only Dion alive, burried in the rubble, and Thunderclash's team, which was off planet at the time. [1]

Rumbler returns in "Battle Lines", where it is revealed that he and several other Elite Guard survived the attack by Bruticus. The arrives in time to help Magnum's team against the Decepticon forces of Deathsaurus. [2]

Rumbler is a European exclusive recolor of Sprocket. He came with a vehicle that turned into suit he could wear.
