Pipes (Transformers)

Pipes is a fictional character in the Transformers series introduced in 1986. He is a heroic Autobot warrior who turns into a semi truck.

Fictional biography
Fascinated by seemingly worthless Earthen gadgetry -- carrot juicers, musical wrist-watches, electrical hair combers, etc.. Collects them in unused corner of Ark, creating a mini museum of American consumerism. Travels at 100mph, range 400 miles, hauls up to 60 tons. Twin exhaust pipes emit corrosive gases that can dissolve 2" thick steel slab in 10 minutes.

Pipes appeared in the 1986 Commodore 64 video game The Transformers: Battle to Save the Earth.

- Takara Transformers Encore Bumblebee & Minibots (2008)
- A 6-pack that included Pipes. This version of Pipes had painted headlights and a tampograph Autobot symbol.
- Hasbro Transformers Combiner Wars Legends Pipes (2016)
- A remold of Generations Legends Optimus Prime. Comes with a rifle.
