Nick Deflorio
Nick Deflorio (born October 17, 1996) Nick Deflorio (born October 17, 1996) is an Australian crypto and forex trader, investor, entrepreneur, and former real estate agent. He is the founder and CEO of Onyx Trading, multinational crypto, and forex trading education company, based in Sydney, Australia.
Deflorio has been featured as an expert in beginner trading education in various news publications and magazines including, the American Reporter, Business Deccan, Tech Times, Future Sharks, Latin Post, International Business Times, and several others.
Early Life and Education
Deflorio was born on October 17, 1996, in Sydney, NSW, Australia. He was raised by a single mother, who constantly struggled to provide for her family and maintain a work-life balance. Growing up witnessing his mother's struggle, inspired him to succeed in life. He attended the Northern Beaches Secondary College and obtained his high school diploma.
After completing high school, Deflorio started working as a real estate agent. During his office, he was inspired by a colleague who dealt in trading activities and owing to which Deflorio developed an interest in learning forex and crypto. He invested 2 years in learning about the market and then quit his job and decided to pursue full-time trading. He was 17 years old when he bought his first bitcoin and started developing an interest in crypto.
Career
Deflorio spent the initial years of his career working in the real estate industry. He started working as a consultant and grew through the role of sales associate at Belle property Mosman.
After gaining substantial knowledge and learnings about forex and crypto trading, in 2018, Deflorio joined Leonardo Capital as a trader in foreign exchange and commodities. In September 2019, Deflorio joined Affex as the business development executive and assisted businesses in reducing the costs associated with foreign exchange through the implementation of strategic risk management solutions.[1]
In January 2018, Deflorio led the foundation of Onyx Trading, an education platform that promotes forex and crypto learning. The platform was established with the objective to provide guidance to Deflorio’s friends and family members, who wanted to learn and make money through trading. Deflorio combined all of his learnings and helped people undertake wise trading decisions by educating them about risk management, technical analysis, and trading psychology. The platform has developed into a global education company with a team of 5 coaches and over 1400 students, spanning over 10 countries.[2] [3]
