Multan is a city and capital of the Multan Division located in Punjab, Pakistan. Situated on the bank of the Chenab River, Multan was Pakistan's 7th largest city in the 2017 census. It is the 5th most populous city in the country in 2022. It is the major cultural, religious, and economic center of Southern Punjab.
