Early Life

Jasir Cooke was born on January 18, 2006 in Virginia, Cooke spent most of his life in Virginia. At the age of seven, he would pretend to be Michael Jackson and do his dances to his songs.. At the age of 12, Cooke started learning how to make music and produce his own vocals. Cooke started meeting friends with the same musical interest. He eventually created the collective Nostalgic Habitat.

Cooke says got bullied a little bit for what he does and tries to become, but he said he keeps humble and keeps going. At age 13 he produced 2 albums, made 2 clothing brands (OGGY & Lost Ethereal), 1 magazine (Lost Ethereal Magazine), and his own record label (Kult Money Records). His parents helps him with some of the equipment.

He wanted to start doing other stuff also so him and Ryan Duterte decided to make the brand Lost Ethereal Magazine. They are still currently in the making. It was confirmed that ISSUE 01 will be released on October 22nd, 2019. His main inspiration is Tyler, The Creator, Tate Lovett and Jaden Smith. They inspired him to make his own magazine.

Career

Career beginnings and RR & NM (2018–2019)

Up and coming rapper Orangehours created and signed to his label Riot Records (now Kult Money Records) and released his debut single "Kid From the North Pole" on November 28, 2018. It reached over 2,000+ plays on Soundcloud and was released on all platforms such as Google Play Music, Apple Music, Spotify etc. Astroid has experimented with other genres such as Alternative/Indie, Hip-Hop/Rap, Pop, Indie Pop/Neo-Soul etc.

He later owned a magazine called "Lost Ethereal Magazine". Him & Ryan Duterte started the magazine together in September 2019. They sold out of all copies of the magazine in the first month. He unfortunately had to discontinue the magazine due to Ryan Duterte moving. He then started a brand called 'SUMOHART' in December of 2019. That didn't last long and had to end due to the co-owner Brandon Snyder not pulling his weight. As of 2020, Jasir Cooke owns music/film/skate collective 'Lost Advisory Media'. Which include a podcast, bi-monthly magazine, tri-monthly released films, gaming Twitch channel, and a clothing brand. The collective consists of Jasir Cooke,Noah Macdonald, Javon Bain, Owen Cobb, Ethan Distaso, Chace Laundre, Alexis Roseboom, Bailey Davis, Mekhi Mckenzie, Jonah Sasser, Matthew Mangels, Arielle Ramirez, and Briana Cristinson. It's a young idea and still progressing.
