LB Scoots is a scooter company located in New Jersey founded by Nicholas Pinto at age 12. LB Scoots is known for creating scooter parts that last longer than competitors. LB Scoots generated $100,00 the first year of operation.[1][2][3]

History

LB Scoots was initially a skate wax company, which drafted into the scooter parts industry because the CEO Nicholas Pinto was frustrated at the quality of foreign-made scooters. The wheels on Nicholas Pinto's scooter would easily break and he was constantly spending money replacing the wheels every few weeks. Nicholas Pinto turned that frustration into action. Nicholas Pinto created the design for new wheels and located a company in California to manufacture them. LB Scoots was born. In addition to his signature 110-millimeter scooter wheels, Nicholas Pinto designed scooter-related parts such as clamps and grips.[4][5]

LB Scoots was founded in the United States but receives orders from as far away as Australia.[6]

Growth

Through "word of mouth" publicity and a grassroots marketing approach, LB Scoots flourished and the company now generates orders from around the country and even internationally.[7][8]

LB Scoots went to scootering competitions where they had big banners and gave out stickers.[9]
