Jade Marlin
Jade Marlin (born 1984) is an American fashion designer known as the founder of Jade Marlin Collection fashion brand.[1][2]
Early life and education
Marlin was born in Los Angeles, California and later raised in Riverside, California by his mother, Janice Comeaux.[3]
Career
At an early age, Marlin spent most nights drawing and designing in secret. This marked the beginning of his designing career.[4] He furthered his education in fashion by attending Citrus College and later, ITT Technical Institute.[5]
In 2003, with the help of his mother, Marlin started to develop his collection and created shirts at local swap¬meets.[6] It was at a swap meet that Marlin was first introduced to Kevin who assisted him with the printing process.[6] As time went on Marlin began to attend and network at trade shows, and was eventually picked up at the Las Vegas Trade Show Magic by a factory.[7][8]Later on, he founded the brand Jade Marlin Collection.[2]
In 2019, Marlin wrote and published a book titled Beyond The Threads which chronicles his inspiring journey to the fashion industry.[9][10][11]
